Am I Ready For Nude Photography?
While boudoir can be incredibly sexy whether you model is fully clothed or scantily clad, some clients want to go the extra mile and do a nude shoot. This of course may be quite intimidating at first, but if you and your photographer follow these tips, your experience will be fun, sexy and completely comfortable.
1. Know what you and your photographer are wanting to accomplish before the shoot begins. Preparation is key for nude sessions. Look through magazines, go online, and find tasteful nude poses that you'd like your photographer help you conquer. There are plenty of resources for finding tasteful nude photos, so you need to utilize those and be ready with your top few on the day of the shoot.
2. Think about doing your shoot in black and white. Aside from monochrome being simply elegant and beautiful, you may feel more comfortable with the outcome of your photos in black and white. All bodies are beautiful, but we all have those certain blemishes or splotchiness that we'd prefer be hidden with a black and white tint.
3. Try anonymity. Many clients feel more comfortable with nude photos if they turn their heads away from the shot. These actually prove to be very effective shots, as sometimes a face can be distracting from the rest of the model in the shot. It also adds a very sexy shyness to your shots!
4. Keep it relaxed and fun. Just like regular boudoir, nude photography should be an exciting, sexy, fun experience for you, so work to feel comfortable with your photographer, and don't take yourself too seriously.
5. Be nude, but cover up. You may love the idea of being nude, but exposing your most personal parts of your body may be intimidating -- so hide them! Many nude shoots look absolutely exquisite when the model chooses to carefully place her hands or cross her legs over personal places. Once again, this "shy" look comes across very sexy, and you'll feel great about the photos afterward!
